When building a Nightvision device yourself it is important to pick the best fitting image intensifiers. These tubes are what makes you see in the dark. They are categorized in terms of performance by fom (SNR times Resolution) with higher fom indicating better performance. 

These intensifiers are autogated which makes them amazing in mixed lighting conditions and are always more then 1600 FOM, slight color differences may be present between tubes.
